# Certifications & Learning Path

I treat certifications as checkpoints, not the goal but they're a useful way to structure learning and signal competence. Here's where I am and where I'm headed.

## **✅** Earned

### CompTIA PenTest+ (2021)

## **⏳** In Progress

### OSCP — Offensive Security Certified Professional

### CPTS — HTB Certified Penetration Testing Specialist

### CRTO — Certified Red Team Operator

## Roadmap

```
   [✓] CompTIA PenTest+
        │
   [ ] OSCP  ──┐
   [ ] CPTS  ──┼──►  Junior Pentester role
        │      │
        ▼      │
   [ ] CRTO  ──┘ ──►  Red Team direction
        │
        ▼
   (future) OSEP / CRTL / cloud security
```

## How I study

* **Labs first.** HTB and TryHackMe machines, then certification labs.
* **Document everything.** You can find my write-ups on this site.
* **Research for depth.** Reproducing CVEs and writing PoCs is the best way I've found to understand a vulnerability class.
